Based on the information provided and the reason for referral, it may be mandatory to upload radiographs/ images. The system facilitates various methods to upload, this method is uploading digital X-rays.
Upload from the PC (Digital radiographs/other locally stored images)
- Export the image from a record system or imaging software to a local folder on the PC. This could be, for example to the picture file or on to the desktop.
- Save the image in any recognised format such as DICOM, JPG, JPEG, PNG.
- Click the ‘Add’ button to open the uploader menu
- Click the ‘X-ray/Image from file’ tab (it will be defaulted to this)
- Click ‘Upload a file’ to browse your local PC files, find the image you have exported and click open to add (you may add as many images as required)
- Click the ‘Save’ button
- Add a date of exposure for each image
Please note: It is mandatory to enter a date of exposure/photograph for each image uploaded. Select ‘Today’ to auto-fill today’s date, or for a previous date, manually enter the information in dd/mm/yyyy format. A note may also be added in the field below the date of exposure/photograph (above the image itself).
