Within this subsection, it is important to enter any other patient associated modifiers. Although already defaulted to ‘None’ modifiers may be added by selecting from the drop-down list.
- The default answer is set to ‘None’
- To add factor/s, start typing the term into the field; a smart search function will help identify the condition to select
- In order to browse the conditions by category, click ‘Review answers by category’ to expand the section and search by category.
Patient Modifiers include but are not limited too:
- Communication issues
- Cooperation issues
- Legal or ethical issues affecting care
- Oral risk factors
- Restriction accessing care
Entering certain modifiers may require further clarification; please ensure that you answer any follow up questions as they are mandatory.
If you are unable to locate a patient associated modifiers and can not select a more general option, please enter the information within the free-text box provided at the end of the section.
Please note: Certain modifiers may impact patient care and therefore the logic within the system (for example, regions that commission Rego for Community Dental Services (CDS)); in some instances, prompts will offer further advice.
